• TV size. It seems obvious, but most important.
• Audio receiver size and power. The furniture must accommodate the size of the unit, provide adequate ventilation and allow for easy access to the cables.
• Speaker system. The center channel should be positioned directly below the TV for proper imaging. The furniture in many cases must also accommodate the left and right front speakers as well.
• DVD and other source storage requirements is another important consideration in the design of the furniture.
